DAMAGE provides loop menus and individual loops. Loop menus are combined loops, cleverly mapped to the keyboard, to create time-synchronized grooves. Mix and match loops in different styles to create unique, layered beats. Single-loop presets combine detailed control and intuitive playback capabilities – adjust level, panning, and tuning for each slice and use key triggers to randomize, freeze, delete, or flip slices in real-time. - KITS
DAMAGE offers 58 multi-string drum kits, built from over 200 deeply sampled percussion sources and over 500 individual single-shot elements. These hybrid kits combine percussion instruments and sampled objects for devastating effect, injecting strength and personality into any production. THE ROUTE OF DAMAGES
“Our goal was to innovate by combining traditional drums with found sounds to create a unique sound mix. On our journey to capture an eclectic mix of percussive instruments, we decided early on that recording sources in various locations with different settings would damage the depth. that we were looking for. We captured sound sources at Heavyocity’s studio in New York, Prism Sound Studios “The Church” in Boston, A Room from Skyline Studios in Manhattan, a junkyard in Connecticut, and other locations. ” Take a look behind the scenes of the “Behind The Damage” video. - DETAIL OF TWO YEARS
“In two years, we captured recordings at a single percussion depth. Over 26,500 samples were recorded at 96 kHz, 24-bit (all meticulously reduced to 44.1 kHz, and 24-bit) using state-of-the-art equipment including SSL and consoles. Large Format Neve, API, Wunder, Neve and Avalon microphone pre/equalizers and AKG, Mojave, Sennheiser, Lawson, and Neumann microphones. Much of DAMAGE’s deeply sampled material consists of Common Style recordings. We’ve captured these sets to provide detailed performance dynamics (most with 9 round robins and 6 speeds) and a wide range of impact. “
